Two years experience in Northern India during the great Indian Sepoy Rebellion of 1857 and 1858 : holograph / by George Osborne, 1871.

The unpublished narrative is compiled chiefly from Osborne's letters written during the Rebellion to Mr. Hamilton, government agent at Ghazeepoor, and from Hamilton's letters to him, as well as from Osborne's diary, and occasional references and passages taken from other sources, such as, Meade's Sepoy Revolt, published in 1857.

Scholar of mortgage and property law. Osborne received his LLB and JD degrees from Harvard in 1919 and 1920; before joining the faculty at the Stanford Law School in 1923, he taught at the Universities of West Virginia and Minnesota.
